What, in that last message, did you think would be a surprise to me?

I have driven you SPARE in accepting your points! You have wanted me, throughout this thread, to move a position with which you COULD disagree. It's driving you BOnKERS that I won't!

Sorry mate, I won't fit your attempt at a stereo type!

My position is clear and even YOU can understand it:-

1) If speed limiters WERE the only way to control speed; I'd support them. However, sadly (for your argument) they are NOT, nor are they the ONLY way to improve safety.

2) Safety (erm SPEED) cameras are ALSO not perfect but they are MUCH better than what we have WITHOUT them. So... I SUPPORT them. However, if you or ANYONE else can suggest a method/technology that is:

* Practical
* Enforceable
* Affordable

..... then I will HAPPLILY switch allegiances to THAT 'solution'. However, the speed limiters fail in MORE areas of the 'trilogy' than OTHER systems so, for the time being, I REJECT it.... as has the govt........ so far!

In the 'trade' we would say: 'that shot YOUR fox, didn't it!'
