Is that for all the Lotus spares needed then, Ian?
My list:
1) Caterham R500 no brainer 2) Ariel Atom for a more modern take on the same principles 3) VW Phaeton TDi V10 for comfort in traffic to/from the track & decent towing 4) Mazda RX8 not exactly blessed with style, but oh the music from the engine compartment! I could listen to that all day, or until the tank runs dry. Mozart or this: a tough call.
Then the classics, in no particular order
5) NSU Ro80 flawed, but perhaps the boldest and most advanced car ever 6) Mercedes 300 Gullwing 7) Jaguar E Type 8) Ferrari Daytona 9) AC Cobra 427 for being the maddest, most dangerous beast ever 10) McLaren F1 if only for the seat configuration!
Thats 5 Brits (leaving engines aside), 3 Germans, 1 Japanese and only 1 Italian
Given a 10-car garage is generous, but Im greedy now and want an extension for
11) some Alfa or other 12) VW Golf GTi Mk1 I had 2; they were sooo much fun. Took one around the Ring 13) Citron DS for being weird, elegant and a sales success all in one package
Agree, Lambos should be avoided unless you want your hetero credentials and physical endowment seriously questioned
