sorry caps button has broken and space button is sticking
you are hinting at removing vote from certain classes or groups of people who have a legal right to vote
i choose to not vote, i dont believe the party system works...it doesnt problem solve just creates problems, democracy in its simple form is the masses get what they want and removes extreme views by numbers, if you cant trust the voters then you can not back the system.......(credit to Vic for that)
i will reduce down to a level Ian will not like,
"Britain's Got Talent."
the public was told who should win by the media but the winners had no press, trust the voting...if you cant or believe it would be better if "certain" groups didnt vote then you are moving away from the current system
Democracy : the majority get what they want, right or wrong.....which gets confusing when voting on football teams not issues
the power to vote is great but dont vote just because you have the right, vote and endorse the ideals of the party you have ticked the box, some will say by not voting you can not have a voice....but the flip of that is if you vote and if they get in you have no voice to moan..you ticked the box that gave them the right
yep one chance in 4-5 years, that is the level of your involvement in issues that effect you, even if they really screw up you cant remove them...welcome to the present day....and the next 300 odd days
