.. thats an admirable thought vic but it is not easy to know what should be done.
In Australia ( like many other countries) we know that even if we reduce our greenhouse gas emissions to ZERO immediately.. it will have no measurable impact on any GW factors ( assuming you accept the link between GHG & GW )
However, we do know for certain that implementing a small ( ineffective ?)programme of GHG control in the form of the Carbon Trading Schemes ... will completely screw the future economy, leaving our grandchildren an impossible debt burden with its inevitable consequences on all aspects of life.
so .. what inheritance do you chose for you offspring ??..
..unknown possible effects of "rumoured GW ? ..or
..certain financial (& social) catastrophe ?
