thanks for the posts
to Vic, the challenge was getting there against the odds....once done what would be the next step, the public and media enjoyed the 1st time but lost interest in the following missions
i admire and respect everything that went into that era but also thankful we are still limited to our little planet
as i have posted on here and other forums, what i love and hate about our race is "can we" always comes before "should we", blessed with the "can" and still learning about "should"
15 years on still remember one of my mums "tree hugging" friends telling me "if you see a dolphin and squirrel deep in chat........you know hunmankind is finished and new leaders have taken over, yet to see a squirrel in the sea and not seen any tree hugging dolphins...but doesnt mean it is not happening
one race and a planet too small for all of them (and rest of the lodgers)........"can we" has got us this far, getting to the moon may seem simple compared to solving global issues we "should" be solving...........if you believe they can?
