Did you see the BBC News at 10 last night ? The first story run detailed the release of figures which indicated that this is the longest recession on record. It featured unfortunate people in the Midlands, desperate to get back to work. It then followed with a scene that looked like it was straight from the 1970s. A bunch of people with possibly the best grade of job for an unskilled worker available striking over an issue they can't even explain.
How anybody can endorse the CWU and their members' course of action at this moment in time is beyond me. They are a bunch of militant bullies who are not only destroying the organization their members work for, they are holding the entire country to ransom and, at an incredibly fragile economic time, risking the jobs of thousands of their fellow citizens who have no influence of any kind on this situation.
These people need to take a reality check... understand what the world outside the cocoon of the state underpinned Royal Mail is really like and behave themselves. Otherwise they will be joining dole queues if the Royal Mail is destroyed.
