Wonder if Bernie kept the 12m the Gillet paid a few days ago,i know Bernie said he wouldn't persue it and sue for breach of contract, which i guess was for the unpaid 12m,but now that he's got it(if) i wonder.
I didn't know this but Bernie is long time friends with Tom Wheatcroft, that would possibly explain the 17 year contract to start with,he also acknowledges that Gillet is a good man and meant well but came undone because of the economic climate, well with Bernie being a billionare thanks to F1 and the mainly british teams youd like to think he'd slip Gillet and Wheatcroft 100m.
But then again Bernie already owns Paul Ricard and he hasn't shown any intrest in bringing that up to F1 spec so why should he buy another circuit? Just gutted that Donington has been left a building site and unusable till its put right,my bet is the Wheatcrofts will sue Gillet
