Im sorry to hear about your friend Davy, my apologies for being blunt about it, sorry.
Fact is i often think about how much i've breathed in when i used to gun wheel nuts off. Going on the asbestos awareness course although essential for my job also gave me sleepless nights, i know for a fact im done for and im only 39.
Your right about the tube too, i did a lot in london in the BT tunnels, now thats an eye opener, manchester tunnels too, its full of the stuff.
Davy i would really try and not to let it worry you too much, whats done is done. You could of been as carefull as you liked but you'd of breathed it in somewhere else.
Just so as you know....
Artex contains asbestos Marley tiles on kitchen floors contain asbestos Lino contains asbestos The old black toilet seats and cisterns too The little black bitumen pad stuck to the underside of your stainless steel sink contains asbestos
