So far, and on VERY little evidence..... 2010 is showing signs of Hamilton becoming a right little Prima Donna!
1) Sacks his Dad who appears to have been a 'calming influence' 2) Trouble with Aussie Cops for 'showing off'. 3) Rattled by something (Cops?) for Qualifying 4) Makes blatantly STUPID calls to the pits when he SHOULD be concentrating on his RACING ("Oh... it's me tyres!'..... 'It's all YOUR fault I can't pass Alonso'. 5) Whines to the press about his team while claiming that he was COMPLETELY happy with HIS performance.... did that include being happy with Knackering your tyre's too early, Lewis....?
We'll see how the season progresses.... but.....
He was EXTREMELY quick..... but then so were others when they weren't held by almost equal cars. Look how fast Fernando caught Felipe.... until HE hit the Aero-Wall!
It seems that all the other drivers who 'ran into the aero-wall' worked it out but Hamiliton IMMEDIATELY claims that his tyres have gone off! Then, a few laps later whines that he SHOULDN'T have changed tyres earlier ...... Errr..... excuse me, Lewis, are they the SAME grade of tyres which you have just claimed 'went off' in a about one THIRD to one HALF of the race distance after the 'change'?
At least Fernando retained his sense of humour when he was 'trapped' behind Felipe with Lewis closing!
I still think that Lewis is QUICKER than Jenson.... but THIS season's rules may have dealt Jenson an ACE! He can make tyres last and Lewis (and others) don't seem to be able to. Sadly, the term 'Tortoise and Hare' seem to fit, here, but that's not very complimentary to Jenson!
I suspect that Fernando now knows that Massa will CHOP him, ruthlessly, if he needs to......
Anyway..... what a GREAT change from 2 weeks ago!
I STILL think tracks should be fitted with Sprinklers for which the teams are only given 2 lap's notice that they will be switched on! It should work on a 'random' basis so that in some races there won't BE any 'sprinkles' and in others when there is a likelihood of rain, they won't be used but, on (let's guess) 50% of races, they WILL be used at least once for an indeterminate period in races!
Wet races have ALWAYS been more fun!
