It's been hard enough to get the figures for the Police's 'kill rate', en masse! You try to find it ANYWHERE and you'll see what I mean!
So... the answer is: no, I can't separate the data into 'classes'.... I wish I could!
However, you have raced karts AND you have been on the Police Courses: would YOU ever use their 'line' on a RACE TRACK?????
The 'Q' Line reduces their maximum cornering speeds by 10% to 25% because the line is SO much tighter than 'optimum' while still remaining 'safe'. I would STRONGLY argue that driving at the SAME speed they do currently but using as a PROPER 'line' would leave them with 10% to 20% INCREASED margin to be able to handle sudden unexpected events/surfaces. It's back to my old 'spare capacity' argument! The Police's line closes-off SO much 'spare capacity' that it almost GUARANTEES an accident eventually.
You have to know that I have too much experience of Police Deaths in my region. Within 1 mile of my own village, we have had two Police FULLY CLASS ONE TRAINED drivers kill themselves though stupidity and a further 4 police badly injured by 'inverting' a high speed training car through using Q line and meeting a mud-slick placed on the EXACT point they needed to turn-in on a corner! We have also had a Police CRETIN crash into a stationary nurse while driving in a 30mph limit at OVER 100mph! Finally, I was forced to make a FORMAL complaint about a Police high-speed TRAINING INSTRUCTOR forcing two cars off the road DIRECTLY infront of my own car! I had so MUCH evidence about the matter that Hendon struck her (!) off the register of trainers!
As I said, I have a LOT of reason to question the Police's driving skills!
