For me, today is the 30 year anniversary of the START of Britain's return to RESPECT for ourselves!

Before that, we were a beaten, whipped and cowed nation who could be bullied out of ANYTHING by force and or bluff. We had given in to strikers, terrorists, other governments... in fact ANYBODY who said 'Boo' to us!

On the 5th May 1980.... that all started to change! Look it up for yourselves!

That was the F*I*R*S*T time that we had STOOD UP since the disaster of Suez.... and it finally gave the British some HOPE that we had at LAST got a leader with BALLS!

Margaret's leadership is simply misunderstood by SO many of you! She was NOT like other politicians: she had no interest in personal POWER or MONEY or FAME.... she just fought FOR this COUNTRY and it's hard-working people! Evcen when she was wrong, which was VERY RARE, she didn't do it for the WROING REASONS..... she simply made the wrong CHOICE!

Those of you not old enough to know pre-Thatcher-britain (the small 'b' is NOT a misprint!) have no CONCEPT of how we'd become! ew were like a gariatric patient in a hospice: weak, feeble, dribbling, being spoon-fed and waiting for DEATH. Margaret gave us SOME chance of getting our pride BACK.... and we WANTED that..... and we GOT it!

Maragaret's decision on that day all but ENDED 'seiges' on British soil! For THIRTY YEARS!
Celebrate this day's anniversary, ALL OF YOU, who think that Britain SHOULD have a BACKBONE!
