The huge deficit as I understand is a result of the govt being caught out, spending at set rate whilst assuming the economy would just keep growing. Would any Govt factor in having to pump billions into failing banks..no..they should be getting this back at some point????

For the record I'm 36 and I only speak from my own experience, I've found the NHS fantastic when I've needed it and the schools are much better than they were. Over the last ten years I know no-one who is long term unemployed (unless its their choice) although this will now change. The Govt has put money in my child's bank which we are now adding to.

I also hope the 1st and 3rd place loosers (all the parties were loosers imo) succeed, but I always vote on the policies that help me in my current situation.
