The MAJORITY of the drivers take a certain line which crosses the centre line (towards our right) WELL before the corner in question. Two cars take a WILDLY different line and the FIRST car to take that line is HCN..... and it is PERFECTLY in line with 'blocking' the second car: WP. The ONLY reason WP moves to the WIDER line than HCN is simply because HCN has BLOCKED the 'inner line'.
No one can EVER know if WP could have passed had HCN used the 'wider', 'legal line' but that is NOT the point under discussion. HCN used a line which is deemed as 'Blocking': period!
There's nothing complicated, confusing or contentious about the utterly PLAIN fact that HCN took a 'blocking line'. The only part which IS questionable is whether that SHOULD be against the rules. That part, however, does NOT affect this race as it was run under THOSE rules.
HCN has not got a leg to stand-on.
