I stopped reading or posting for a few months.

BUT we still kept the advertising going because without that you have NOTHING.

We have the most freedom of any forum and it does what it says on the tin.

I was going to join Karting1 when this site got so slow that I couldn't get on at all, but Karting 1 was so difficult to join with this page asking for irq's drq's p's and q's a la biscuit barrel and bar, that I gave up.

And the forum is too pithy with yards of the same thing being repeated, you can't just read a post, you end up reading the same thing over and over.

Function and simplicity is the answer.

Sony did a test and gave away 100 home HiFi's and the recipients had a choice of a simple unit or a whistle and bells unit.

Nearly all chose the whistle and bells unit but they were given the chance to exchange then if they wanted to after a time.

ALL chose to exchange for the simple unit.

Let the customer choose what they want, it will invariably be simplicity.

This site is simple and so am I.

And it's free, like me.
