To me in most cases its the intent that is the punishable act. Take karting should someone who drives straight into a fellow racer out of anger be treated as the same as someone who has accidently clashed with someone?
You would hope that if he was driving at 50mph then he should have made the corner. If he wasn't speeding he needs to be done for driving without due care and attention if he didnt see how tight the corner was.
You would hope a "hypecar" of that nature would have fairly decent brakes, handling and tyres so he should have slowed down at least part way from 50. If thats the case their build quality is shocking if thats the damage from hitting something at say 20mph!
He was being a plumb thinking he was Michael Schumacher and ended up looking like Ralf.
