Is that true about you being insured 3rd party? I had fully comp insurance in my own name when I was 17-21 and thought that was the case but when you read the small print it said for that to be in force you had to be over 25. Not saying you are wrong but I drove an old transit my dad bought me for karting and for a couple of years I didn't realise I wasn't insured. Genuine fault but no defence in eyes of law.

Silly thing with insurance when I was 17 before I got a new Fiat Seicento Sporting I got a quote for an ex army land rover 109 the long wheel base one with a 2.25 petrol engine the quote from Adrian Flux was �250! I could do far more damage in that that a Fiat made out of waffer thin steel.
