There is no way that killing him once replicates what he did. The same way that raping a rapist makes the 1st act right. Killing sexual predator (different to rape) I think most people would agree is fair. Would you want your tax money to go on looking after him in prison or towards schools and hospitals?
There are just some people that don't deserve to live on the same planet.
Isn't the entire notion of democracy that the rule of the people is enforced. Or to put it another way mob rule. More people agree with him being killed than disagree therefore it is right.
My biggest problem is that the law of the land and justice do not always go hand in hand. Far to often do we try and look out for the person who committed the crime rather than the victim or society as a whole.
