No but I dont think he is as bad as the press make him out to be. He never should have been England manager as that stage in his career. He was a relative sucess at Middlesborough, premiership and Europe, Fergie said he was the best assistant he ever had (althought that doesnt mean he will be a good number 1, look at Brian Kidd) and won with FC Twente whilst learning to speak Dutch like he was in, how you say, porn (fit in well with the Brady bunch owners)
Ok he failed at Wolfsburg (possibly due to the fact he didnt learn a German accent) but Surely the experience of other leagues may be beneficial.
That being said I don't think we will end up with Shteeeve and think the new manager may even be someone closer to home to appease us the fans. Really wouldnt be suprised with Paulo coming home although that might be part of the problem we had with Zola in that he will be asking some fairly average players to do things that even now he still can do but they can't.
My vote is for Doncaster manager Sean O'Driscoll who is an up and coming manager playing good football at a small club and will hopefully replicate the Pardew era. I also think the new manager will be at the game Sunday.
