I think you underestimate quite how quick Raikonnen has been.... and will be.... Michael was NEVER as quick as he thought he was. When he had real opposition, he was beatable. He was just there at a lucky time when there weren't that many QUICK people there. As soon as Alonso made that Renault GO.... Michael was beatable. When Mika got the McLaren working, he could beat Michael. Had Ayrton not died, Michael would have been world champ only a couple of times.
Kimi is WIERD enough to be silly-quick... if he's motivated properly! I can't see Lotus delivering but.... that really is the Renault team and they HAVE delivered as in the near past. I expect Kimi to be quite unexpected.... except for the Pre- and Post-race interviews. To understand his interviews, just listen for the words he DOESN'T say. E.g., a journalist ask: "how do you feel about your first win since returning?". Kimi's reply will be: "I feel fine and the car was very good".... but... in his head... the answer will be: "Jesus.... what a ****ING MINDLESS question: I've only been asked that 1,000 times before.... you MORON!" He's just not allowed to SAY it!
Just listen to Alan Partridge interviewing 'France's second fastest F1 driver' and you can hear a LESS controlled Kimi!
