I also admire and like Kimi, especially his antics off track and share his hatred for journo's. The James Hunt snowmobile race is just brilliant. However Ian you hit the nail on the head though when you stated -

It's the 'if he's motivated' bit that annoys me. That final season at Ferrari he really just didn't seem bothered by F1 or racing anymore. I don't doubt Ferrari were being complete to**ers to him, but it would be nice for a driver being paid millions to drive in Formula 1 to look like he appreciates being there. That 2008 season he lost a lot of respect in my eyes.

I hope he has a renewed hunger for Formula 1, and truly hope we see the motivated Kimi (the one thats almost unstoppable) but if not then it's a complete waste of a seat that so many drivers would give their right leg for!
