Anyone remember telling me that Lotus was just a flash-in-the-pan during pre-season-testing?

Lotus may WELL fall back as the year progresses as they may well run out of money (which looks like happening, soon) BUT..... those quick, pre-season, tests showed that the car is EXTREMELY quick.... if a little ragged at times!

I still think Kimi and the team got rattled by the impressive, but aggressive, driving of Vettel, chopping-him-off neatly at the end of the straight.

And..... what IS it about Vettel's 'finger' that upsets you all? There are LOADS of things he does that are annoying.... like WINNING..... but he's a DAMNED impressive driver at his age and I am VERY impressed with how NOT like Schumacher he is. He is modest (for an F1 driver!!!!) and happy to have a laugh with the interviewers after the race.... unlike some....

I like Kimi but I can see his dour attitude would be MUCH more annoying than Seb's cheerful-chappy style.

The best 'character' on the track still has to be Button! Quick enough, cool, forceful and modest: that's a great set! He IS a fine ambassador for karting!
