As you know, I have never lost faith in Fernando. People don't like what he did at McLaren but.... many of us don't like what McLaren did to him, FIRST!

That does NOT excuse his behaviour..... but it also doesn't prevent him from being SPECTACULARLY good at bringing home F1 cars further up the grid than they deserve. What a driver!

My first love has alwasy been Lotus..... even if that car is FAR less 'Lotus' than the 'real' 'Lotus Team' as raced all those years ago. However, the sight of a race being fought out between a RED FIAt and a Black and Gold 'Lotus' (look alike) brought JOY and great memories to an old GIT!

Add to that the quite bonkers 'Unimpressed Kimi' attitude..... oh what FUN!
