Excellent reply Simon.

I love watching the TT races and enjoy the atmosphere around them but would never race myself as quite frankly im not brave or daft enough however I totally understand others that do feel the need to test themselves to those limits and have absolutely no problem with them doing so.

Everyone taking part is aware they may be killed doing so and its a sad loss when it happens but its their choice to do so, its a one off well run event and does not impact me either financially or physically so who am I to say they cannot do it.

One of my close friends nearly died racing early last year and had he done so I would not have been out campaigning for the track to be closed down or bikes to be banned, when you take on such an event as the TT you are well aware of the risks involved which is why so many love it.
