That's hardly and explanation.
If you have a view, express the REASONS for your view. If we agree with your reasoning, we will have no choice than to agree with you.
However, if we can't explain why our reasoning is wrong.... and you can't defend your own position.... then you **should** have no reason to continue with those views. This is what debate is about.
Cliches and 'pronouncements' are not going to do it unless you can DEFEND those views!
So.... explain in what way MPs are overpaid and how you think cutting their salaries (or just keeping them where they are) will get you BETTER MPs.
There is another view..... we get the MPs we (collectively) vote for. Clearly, you (the general public) have voted in some lousy MPs (in your opinion). It's YOUR (collective) fault that we have these MPs and thus it should be YOUR salary that should be cut as a punishment for making such lousy choices!
