Ian, you hit the nail on the head
if time was frozen at this point could we all be happy with the cars, houses and products we have, most of the western world would carry on quite happy..other countries will still want to play catchup
the food side is different, that needs replacing time and time again...but if we need to change our diet then so be it
read vics post, the problem is not CCG but the need for industry, powers to be and the public to accept changes they will not like or back
the solution to the problem will never get the backing, i posted my 3 ideas in the hope that someone else would point out why they wouldnt work on a global scale, vic did it a lot better than i could
does CCG matter or proving we are the source help, no..the measures that could get voted in are like sticking a plaster on your neck when the head has been removed
CCG is a side affect of our race at best, but even if you could prove the link what difference would it make, how are you going to on a global scale solve it
could i drive the same car for next 20 years, live in the same house for the same, work in the same building, yep no problem but i come from a "green" background...just need to convince the rest of the world or remove the choices...some harsh policys are needed that will never get the backing, anything less is just sticking plasters
but like vic says even what i am willing to give up will not be enough.......are we now not looking for a solution but just trying to delay for our offspring
enjoyed all the posts so far
