Not true...Religions are based purely upon fairy stories....books written thousands of years ago, by various people, many uneducated, and all with absolutely NO evidence whatsoever of the veracity of their statements.

The GW situation is completely different. There is a wealth of evidence to support the theory, and a huge number of studies that give backing.
Yes, it is true that there are SOME (few) people who claim evidence to the contrary, and that is normally the case with any scientific theory. Beleif doesn't come into it. Actions (if any are necessary) are based on the weight of evidence.

I have still never seen ANY good explaination as to WHY governments would WANT to promote GW and its corrective actions. What do they stand to gain?
