Thanks for reply.This is a brand new van, only used 3 times so far. Problem seems to be the cover not catching on whatever it is inside the box that moves it back and forth. eg with the cassette pushed in you can see the cover still half exposed down the plug'ole and preventing the blade opening. Took the van in today to sort it out. I have heard it is a common problem on these.
On another issue, anyone had problem with electrics from car not feeding fridge when towing. I paid an arm/leg to have a factory (Audi) fitted tow bar/electrics and it is only now I have a new van with a fancy fridge with a digital readout that tells me there is no 12v supply from the car, that I realise I have been towing under the incorrect assumption that the fridge is working. I see a battle with Audi looming.
