I know this is more to do with FOM than the BBC, but I thought the coverage in Bahrain was shocking! With less graphics than before, and when we did have on board telemetry they've changed it so that it's now useless... no live timing in qualifying so I had no idea what the grid was until Legard did his usual annoying run down... they kept that awful starting sequence from last year... and Legard has THE most annoying voice known to man kind.

I watched my recording of the 2008 finale last week, and I will happily admit that I prefer even James Allen than Legard, and I hated James Allen!!

I lost count of how many bloopers they had over the course of the weekend, from Lee Mckenzie mistakenly asking Jean Alesi how it felt to be an ex 'World Champion' to Patrick Heads disgraced look when Jake Humphrey asked him an idiotic question about the Williams front wing. THEN we had that truly awful voice over from Boris Becker on Schumachers career in F1, coupled with the usual crazy rants that come from Eddie Jordan!

I think I'll just tune in for Brundles grid walk and the practice sessions where we actually have some charismatic commentators, because quite frankly the rest of the coverage seems to be filmed for CBBC viewers! Rant over! ;)
