Well to start with the fans are not there to see death, or have any role in whether a rider lives or dies. They are there to see some of the best racing on the planet. They have no say in the outcome of a rider, and certainly do not wish for accidents to happen.
The reason I watch it is because I have a love of bike racing, there is a lot of history to the IOM TT and it goes beyond just being a simple race. To watch what the guys achieve on the bikes there is nothing short of amazing. I know the risks they are taking, even more so do the riders competing. I do not want to see riders lose lives, and I am sure that is the case for all fans of the TT. I want to see close racing, close finishes and lap records being lowered each year on one of the best race courses going. That is what the TT guarnatees every year. It is unfortunate that lives are lost, but if everyone went through life worrying about death then living would be particularly boring!
If you don't like it, don't watch it. I have heard people die in the tv programme casualty as well... oh the blood craving loonatics that tune into that! :)
