Surprise surprise, Lewis gets punished and Vettel doesn't. Total disgrace.
We have this issued by the Great Charlie....
That resulted in FIA technical director Charlie Whiting issuing a directive to all teams that read: 'Any team whose car stops on the slowing down lap after the race will be asked by the stewards to explain why this happened.
'If they are not satisfied the reasons were beyond the control of the driver or team, and feel this has been done deliberately to gain a competitive advantage, appropriate action will be taken.'
and then we have the last race where Vettel won
'Vettel, who had started from pole for the first time this season, made his trademark single-finger salute for the first time since last year after taking the chequered flag. With fuel running low, he was told to pull over and stop immediately at the pit exit which meant he had to run down the pit lane to embrace his mechanics.'
One rule for one another for another, shocking and unsporting.
Chris.
