Transit hands down. I work for ford all his about dual mass flywheels etc yeah they so wrong find me a manufacturer that ain't having problems. I MOT'ed a vivaro couple of months ago went across to Vauxhall dealer to get some parts. Got chatting to there Master Tec he told me even he would buy a transit or a vivaro. Then proceeded to list all the reacalls the vivaro had. Including wiring faults, power steering pipes running on aux drive pullysthe list was endless. Also steer clear of a merc. They are having problems keeping pistons in at the minute. We are currently running a 03 plate transit has done 280,000 miles never missed a beat. Carefully check below the side door sills for rot common place for them to go.
