Formula BMW UK Championships
The formula BMW UK Championship 2004 is an entry-level form of motor racing for young karters seeking to graduate to single-seaters on their way to F1. Organised and promoted by BMW UK and the BARC, the main aim of the competition is to give young drivers and teams an equal opportunity at an appropriate budget where talent is more recognised than experience and large budgets. Formula BMW features mini F1 cars complete with wings and slicks powered by a 140 bhp engine. A fill education and teaching programme is on offer through the Licence and Scholarship Courses, which are held at the Formula BMW Racing Centre in Valencia. Please visit us at the London Kart Show Stand C31. We will be happy to provide you with more information about the Championship and the Courses.

F6
Formula 6 is the Four Stroke Karting section of Rochester Motor Club Limited and has been established for well over thirty years. Formula 6 Association was formed for the purpose of promoting Four Stroke Kart Racing. In 2003 we had over 230 registered competitors and between 124 and 167 competitors at the meetings. There are three age groups. The divisions are strictly in accordance with the MSA rules. Cadets 8 to 12, juniors 11 to 17 and seniors 16 and over.   We have a good spread of ages and whilst novices are attracted to our unique formula, we have drivers from the more senior age bracket and experienced drivers from Two Stroke Karting who either can’t or won’t pay the big money to compete. We still consider Buckmore Park to be our ‘Home’ circuit. However, currently we are racing at five different venues. In addition to ‘home’, Bayford Meadows (Sittingbourne), Lydd and Sandown Park (Esher), Ellough Park (Suffolk) and in addition, 2004 will include Clay Pigeon (Dorset) and Whilton Mill (Northampton).  Race meetings are held on Saturdays. Our season runs substantially through British summer time and next year we have twelve championship meetings (ten to count). We include a practice day at Buckmore Park early in the season.
